Lessons and Carols 2014

I was very happy to have joined the Lessons and Carols this year. Being a member of the school choir, we practiced many different music pieces and performed them in front of a big audience at the school chapel.

It was really amazing to listen to all the singers in the choir while we played in the orchestra. I did my best to stay focused so that I won't make any mistakes.

This activity has made me aware of the things I can do and cannot do. I realized my strengths and weaknesses in playing the violin when I played with my orchestra members. Some were better than me, but I did my best to cope up and improve myself in the process.

I also realized that in order for me to get better, I have to develop my skills further by taking more lessons in violin. This way, I can be more confident when I play with my co-members.

It is also important to mention that in order for us to play good and harmonious music together, we have to cooperate with each other and work well as a team. I have to stay committed and do my best all the time in order to stay in the orchestra.
